ABA services

Firefly is the premier provider of ABA therapy to individuals with autism and other developmental disabilities in the Las Vegas area.

…nothing can dim the light which shines from within.

We empathize that Autism may be a new world for you. We’re here to help you blaze a new path. Everything we do at Firefly is designed with your child in mind.

We begin with an assessment, completed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) where we determine the full spectrum of needs. From teaching your child how to communicate, tolerate being told no/wait or use the toilet, to adaptive skills, social skills, motor skills, and appropriate replacement behaviors, we cover it all. During your initial assessment, one of the first questions you’ll hear from us is, “What is the main goal you want to achieve from ABA therapy?” We want to make sure your child success is significant and that you see results.

After completing parent interviews, formal testing, and a comprehensive review of medical and school records, we create an individually focused treatment plan based on your child’s needs and include your participation. All of your child’s goals will be reviewed with you and we will confirm through you that they fit your child’s needs. In order to make sure we are meeting your expectations and designing a plan specific for your child, we encourage feedback and we will make necessary changes.

We start the journey.

We provide you with a team of highly trained Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) with the oversight from your BCBA. Therapy usually starts with what we call “pairing.” Pairing is us building rapport and getting to understand your child on a more personal level in order to create a trusted relationship. Pairing is unique to your child, depending on how your child responds to others being in his/her environment. We want your child to enjoy being around us. Because we all learn better when we like who is helping teach us. You’ll also see all of our RBTs collecting data on an iPad. We are data and results driven. Our data helps us determine what changes need to be made or updated, in order to make sure we are staying on track with your child’s success. We are open to showing you the data and progress so that you always know what we are doing. We are with you from takeoff to landing.
